Relational Containers

Working with couples and relational dynamics as a path to deeper awareness, embodiment and transformation

While much of my work happens one-to-one, I also occasionally work with couples and relational dynamics in longer-form containers.

These spaces support deeper awareness around projection, attachment, communication, embodiment, and the unconscious patterns that emerge in relationship.

Words from a couple I had the privilege of accompanying over six months

"Working with Nicola over six months was one of the most transformative experiences we’ve had as a couple.

We entered the container with the intention of understanding and releasing the projections we carried onto each other. Through our process, we realized that I was projecting my mother onto my partner, while she was projecting her father onto me. Even after becoming conscious of these patterns, they still felt deeply entangled, almost like glue, and we didn’t know how to truly move beyond them.

What Nicola offered us was not another framework to “fix” ourselves through hard work or endless analysis. Instead, she created a ceremonial and relational space where transformation could unfold naturally. Over the course of six individual sessions each and three couple sessions together, all held online over Zoom. She guided us with incredible presence, intuition, humor, empathy, and care.

The couple sessions felt like sacred rituals. Nicola became a neutral witness and master of ceremony for our process, helping us hold our intentions clearly while staying connected to each other and to the larger field moving through us. She always brought thoughtful ideas and practices that made the process feel alive, grounded, and even exciting.

One of the most powerful realizations for us was that we didn’t need to force change or struggle to “get rid” of our patterns. Instead, we learned to trust the power of intention, ritual, and consistent presence. By showing up fully, staying devoted to the process, and allowing ourselves to be supported by Nicola and the field, something profound began to shift organically.

What could have felt heavy instead became an adventure — one filled with curiosity, tenderness, and transformation.

We are deeply grateful for Nicola’s guidance and for the container she created for us. We now feel freer with each other, more able to meet one another without the weight of old projections, and genuinely excited about what else is possible in relationship when there is clear intention, spaciousness, and trust in the unfolding process.

We wholeheartedly recommend this work to any couple who feels called toward deeper intimacy, healing, and transformation". - Peter S, Germany

FAQ's

What is biodynamic craniosacral therapy, and how does it work?

Biodynamic craniosacral therapy is a gentle, yet deep, non-invasive technique that helps release deep-seated emotional and physical tension by working with the body’s natural rhythms. Unlike traditional therapies, this approach aims to realign you with your core energy, promoting healing on mental, emotional, and physical levels. It works directly with the nervous system, releasing imprints and restoring balance. Many clients describe feeling a profound sense of peace, clarity, and connection after just one session. What can I expect during my first session?

Your first 3 hour session, (extending over two days), is designed to give you a safe space to explore, release, and realign. We’ll start with a brief conversation to set your intentions, followed by a biodynamic craniosacral therapy session. This is done, fully clothed, with the client lying down or in a restful position (in person), or in comfortable place of choice (in a distance session). The following day, we’ll have an integration conversation to help you process your experience. This session often provides a powerful glimpse of what’s possible in your journey towards awakening, empowerment, and authenticity. Find out more about a single session here →

Do I need to commit to multiple sessions right away?

No, the initial session is a stand-alone experience, and there’s no pressure to commit to further sessions unless you feel ready. Many clients find the first session valuable on its own, while others choose to continue for deeper, ongoing transformation. After your initial session, we can discuss options if you’re interested in a longer journey.

Can this work be done remotely, or do I need to be there in person?

Yes, sessions can be conducted either in person or remotely. Nicola has years of experience working with clients both locally and at a distance, and the benefits are powerful in either format. In person and remote sessions follow the same structure, with time for intention-setting, healing work, and integration, all conducted in a way that supports your comfort and connection. Many in-person clients have even switched to distance sessions over time, as some have found they can drop even deeper into the experience in the comfort of their own surroundings.
